Our previous wordpress-based website was a well-known target for hackers and spammers, and we were not satisfied with the member management software or events software that we were using. Additionally, we were using multiple products and they weren't integrating well. The decision to move to Silkstart (we hope) will move management capabilities into the hands of our ambassadors and spread the load across all of our volunteers.
If you are seeing bad emails, bad web display, or the navigation is a problem, we will ask you to log an issue on our Github site, so we can track the issue.
If you are seeing harassment, or you think the site may have been hacked, please email tech@womeninidentity.org.

The WID #tech team is a group of volunteers that maintain all of our websites and tools. Our primary platform is a software platform called Silkstart. Silkstart is a "member management" SaaS service.
We would love to have you on the #tech team, contact us on the #tech slack channel if you are a WID staff member, or email us at tech@womeninidentity.org.
